From the Vans Slip-On Be The Original campaign...
From Summer 2014 through Summer 2015, I served as the Womens Online Editor for Vans, with a specific focus on social media and content for their womens business (Vans Girls). I oversaw Tumblr, Twitter and Instagram for the brand and managed Vans Girls two existing bloggers.
I worked on honing the content aesthetic and brand voice, developing and implementing best practices and marketing alignment, as well as increasing frequency of posts and the amount of original content.
I increased lifestyle content by bringing in makeup artist Nico Guilis as a beauty contributor and vegan baker Clara Cakes to cover food. I also introduced regular UGC features such as # You're It and Who's That Vans Girl?
In one year, we were able to grow combined social following more than 200 percent and hit the 1 million followers mark on Instagram.
